Faustina's Tuition Sponsorship

Faustina, who appeared on our awareness documentary "We Are Seventeen" as one of the three local single mothers, will be attending the Namasuba College of Commerce in Kampala, Uganda to pursue a degree in Fashion Design and Textile Technology! Girls Be Strong will sponsor Faustina's tuition fees and ensure that she can explore her passion in fashion without her maternal role and duties impeding her access to education. After earning her degree at Namasuba College of Commerce, Faustina hopes to work in the fashion or textile industry in Uganda, which allows her to grow into an independent individual and caring mother. Girls Be Strong will continue our efforts to open new doors and opportunities for girls through education. Our goal is to empower girls in Uganda to enhance their lives and grow into leaders within their communities who can act as role models for future generations.
