Shuttle Bus Accident Relief Fund

The 30-year-old van, which Hope Hill Learning Centre has been using as a shuttle for commuting students, recently experienced a brake failure and sped out of control. Fortunately, there were no fatalities thanks to the highly experienced driver, but several students were hurt, including three severely injured students. Grateful that the incident wasn’t that severe compared to the scale of the accident, Girls Be Strong is currently supporting transportation for students by initially funding $2000 for rental vans from the ongoing donations. In the spring of next year, eight members of Girls Be Strong are scheduled to visit. Until then, we are exploring various sponsorship methods to continue supporting the shuttle service.
